I had the pleasure of viewing an Emily Carr exhibit this year and my heart came alive upon seeing her extraordinary skill. Her brush stroke and use of colour capturing the magic of what makes the west coast so brilliant. Drawing inspiration from the greats that came before us is a story as old as time.
